Commercial Ductwork Fabrication
Bespoke galvanised sheet metal fabrication manufactured to project requirements, from standard sections to one-off fittings.
Ductwork is fabricated to the dimensions, gauge and constructional requirements set out in the project specification. Standard sections are produced alongside the one-off transitions and fittings that site conditions inevitably require.
Fabrication is scheduled around the installation sequence so that material arrives on site in the order it is needed, which matters on constrained central and West London sites with limited storage and restricted delivery windows.
Manufactured to the project, not to a catalogue
Where a duct route has to negotiate structure, existing services or a tight riser, the fitting is made for that position. Transformation pieces, offsets, plenums, canopy connections and non-standard bends are produced to measured site dimensions where required.
Materials and construction
Galvanised sheet steel is the standard material for commercial supply and extract distribution. Alternative materials and finishes — including stainless steel for kitchen extract and food-production environments — are used where the specification requires them.
Stiffening, jointing systems, sealing and gauge selection follow the constructional standard called up in the specification.
